1. When did you start playing pickleball?
I was introduced to pickleball all the way back in the before times—I'm talking about 2018 when I was just a wee lad in college.
2. What's your favorite part of the game?
I'm a fairly competitive guy, and sometimes people are intimidated by my physical prowess, but because pickleball is easy to pick up compared to other racket sports, I can always find someone who's willing to play with me!
3. Have you tried to get your friends and family to play?
Most of my friends and family already play. Now the question is: can they defeat me? Give me a shout and we can play and you can find out...
4. What do you do besides play pickleball?
I also enjoy basketball, walking my dog, running, biking, going to the beach, making satirical music videos of songs by The 1975—you know, the usual stuff.
5. Have you played in any tournaments before?
No. It's not that I'm scared. It's just that I worry for my opponents sense of self-worth after I get through with them.
6. Do you have a favorite pro player?
How can I choose just one when they're all so adorable out there on the court?
7. What do you eat for breakfast for maximum pickleball efficiency?
In general, I eat pickles. I like to keep on theme. But if there are no pickles available, I might also try a protein bar or some greek yogurt.
8. Anything else you'd like us to know about you and pickleball?
There's a lot more to know about me and pickleball, but I'm a rather secretive person so I'm unwilling to divulge this information.
